1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) is:
Rungfield – Marius Palluel, sole trader (entreprise individuelle), 60 Rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France
Email: contact@rungfield.com · Phone: +33 7 56 86 06 84
For data protection enquiries, you can reach us at contact@rungfield.com.
2. Hosting and shop system
Our online shop is operated on the Shopify platform. The contracting party for merchants in the European Economic Area is Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1–2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland. Shopify processes the data arising when you visit the shop and place orders (e.g. IP address, browser data, order and contact details) on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement (Art. 28 UK GDPR). In the process, data may be transferred to Shopify Inc. (Canada) and other sub-processors, including in the USA. For Canada, there is an adequacy decision of the EU Commission; for transfers to the USA, Shopify relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of the shop (Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) or the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).
3. Server log data
When the website is accessed, technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser and operating system, referrer) is processed in order to deliver the website and ensure security (Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).
4. Orders
To process your order, we process your name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number where applicable, and order and payment information (Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR). For delivery, we pass on your name, address and, where applicable, email address or telephone number to the delivery service provider we use. To display order tracking, we use a tracking application integrated into Shopify, which processes the order and delivery data required for this purpose. Owing to retention obligations under commercial and tax law, we store order data for up to ten years (Art. 6(1)(c) UK GDPR).
5. Payment processing
Payment is made via the payment service providers offered at checkout (e.g. Shopify Payments/Stripe, PayPal, Klarna). The data required for payment is transmitted to the respective provider, which processes some of it as a controller in its own right, e.g. for fraud prevention or – for purchases by instalments or on invoice – for credit checks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR. The privacy notice of the respective provider also applies.
6. Customer account
If you use a customer account, we process the data stored there to manage your orders until you have the account deleted (Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).
7. Contacting us, quote requests and cancellation
If you contact us via the contact form, quote form, cancellation form, email or telephone, we process your details in order to deal with your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) UK GDPR). The forms are transmitted via Shopify. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. WhatsApp
We link to WhatsApp on our website. A connection to WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland) is established only when you click a WhatsApp link. If you write to us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp processes your data in accordance with its own terms; a transfer to the USA is possible. We use your message solely to answer your enquiry. Alternatively, you can reach us at any time by email or telephone.
9. Cookies and consent
We use technically necessary cookies and similar technologies that are required to operate the shop (e.g. basket, checkout, security, storing your cookie choices). This is done in accordance with applicable law and on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) UK GDPR. We use non-essential cookies (e.g. for statistics or marketing) only with your consent via our cookie banner (in accordance with applicable law and Art. 6(1)(a) UK GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings.
10. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are loaded locally from our shop server. No connection to Google servers is established in the process.
11. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 UK GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), as well as the right to withdraw any consent you have given at any time (Art. 7(3) UK GDPR).
Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 UK GDPR). Email marketing takes place only with your consent; you may object to processing for direct marketing purposes at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live; in the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). The authority responsible for us is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.
12. No automated decision-making
We do not carry out any automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 UK GDPR. Information on credit checks by payment providers can be found in section 5.
