Neat at the bottom too
The bottom arrived intact as well. Had a look and I'm happy.
With a close-up
I like being able to see the details before buying. Hence the photo. The finish on mine looks tidy and I get on well with the controls. The ladder suits my occasional jobs.
All fine at the bottom
No broken end caps or other flaws. That's how I'd hoped the delivery would be.
Good decision
Tucked in among the other tools in the cellar. I chose the 5 m version deliberately after weighing up the jobs I have to do. So far it's right for the job and I get on well with handling it.
Took it along and happy
The black ladder in the van while loading up. Much easier for the trips to my parents' than the old rigid one. Everything gets secured before setting off. I've got on well with the 3.8 m one on the jobs so far.
Chose big, stores well
I chose the 6.2 m deliberately and wasn't expecting a light parcel. For the distances I carry it from the tool room to where I'm working, that's OK. Here it is in the garage after use. The first job went well and I can manage the locks. What mattered to me was still being able to store such a long ladder sensibly. That works for us, and so I'm happy with my decision.
Finally a ladder of my own
Finally fits through our narrow doorways without knocking into things all the time. Good buy.

Already used at ours
Photo after clearing up in the room. The ladder is meant for various jobs around the house and has already been in use. It's no lightweight for carrying around a lot, I'd allowed for that. I get on fine with handling it.
Went for the black 6.2 m
The black 6.2 m one is now in my garage. I wanted this model for my jobs and had factored in the weight. Now that I've got to know it I get on fine with it. I like the look of it as well.
I like the black
Yes, I did go for the black one partly because of the looks. I'd already picked the size beforehand, but when it came to colour I simply thought this one looked nicer. It's now here in the garage and has already been used several times. I get on fine with extending it, though I was still a bit slower the first time I closed it up. It suits the small jobs I do around the house. I've given back the old borrowed ladder and I'm glad to have one of my own now.
Big ladder in the van
This is how the 6.2 m one lay when loading, it was secured afterwards. It's a fair old lump when you lift it. Closed up it fits nicely in the car though, which is exactly what I wanted.

I like how it works
One more close-up, of the retracted rungs. The buttons are easy to reach and how to work it made sense once I'd got to know it. Used it several times now, I'm happy with the ladder.

Fits in the shed

Attach the lanyard only to a suitable, load-bearing anchor point and follow the instructions for use. The ladder itself is not an anchor point.

After a fall, or if it is damaged, the harness must not be used any further.
Can I return the accessory if it doesn't fit?
Yes, if you are buying as a consumer. You have 14 days from receipt to notify us of your cancellation, and then 14 days to send the goods back. Email contact@rungfield.com or use the ‘Cancel your contract’ form. You bear the cost of the return shipment.
You may examine the goods as far as is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. If your use goes beyond that, you may be liable to compensate for the loss in value. Details can be found in the cancellation policy.
